A hand-opened Moosburger® horsetail layer adds springback and resilience, helping the surface recover under sustained pressure. Real Shetland wool and cotton deepen thermal mass and absorb movement, while a three-layer hand-nested pocket spring system maps closely to the body's contours without transferring motion across the surface. Five rows of hand side-stitching anchor the edges for consistent support, and hand-tufting keeps the upholstery layers in place for lasting shape. Designed with a two-layer hand-nested calico pocket spring system and thousands of springs in a King size, this mattress balances firmness options with detailed craftsmanship. The upholstery uses blended natural fillings and premium ticking, finished with hand-tied woollen tufts and twine to prevent filling migration. The border is reinforced with coir and wool, while air vents and multiple height options tailor the feel and accessibility. With an overall depth of 9.8 inches (25 cm) plus a doming allowance, the Opulence offers a refined, durable sleep experience in statesman heights or a lower profile for versatile bedroom setups.
